PhD Student
Hello,
a bit about me:
I was born in Bucharest, Romania, but I’ve lived in Italy for most of my life where I did all of my schooling.
I attended Liceo Scientifico “A. Cornaro” in the city of Padova, and later went on to do my bachelor’s degree in Physics and then a master’s degree in Theoretical Physics. I was awarded the Erasmus scholarship and completed my master’s thesis in Paris under the supervision of Professor F. Vernizzi at IphT. In 2017, I came back to Italy and started my PhD studies at SISSA, where I’m currently working under the supervision of Professor E. Barausse on testing our knowledge and understanding of gravity with numerical techniques.
I have always loved learning new languages and connecting with different cultures. Another language I enjoy studying and speaking, as an amateur, is photography.
More recent interests: snorkelling, free-diving and coastal rowing.
