Welcome to your new job here in Trieste!

SISSA, a scientific centre of excellence founded in 1978 is located in the Karst region of Trieste. It's where physics, neuroscience and mathematics are studied on a national and international academic scale. Lucky enough to call Trieste 'home', I have also been lucky enough to be hired to work for such a prestigious Italian institute within the Physics Department.

With any new job come the struggles, mistakes and hard learning curves.

Moving away from home can be frightening, leaving behind what you know and stepping out of your comfort zone can be intimidating, but what I have come to realize is that if you don't try something you'll never know what you are truly capable of and the view isn't too bad either ;)
