The Big Bang!

Have you ever watched the show The Big Bang Theory? It's a show about 4 brilliant socially awkward physicists and one waitress/aspiring actress.

Each episode peaks and develops each 5 of these characters giving a fun comical view inside the lives of physicists and their life outside of work.


We know this show is fictional, and nothing like real life, no show really ever is... unless it's a reality show, and that's not even real. But enough about my rant...Let's get back to the main topic.


Some of my job tasks consist of writing emails, planning seminars, conferences, and handling the ever so famous "Italian bureaucracy". I guess you can call me the clerical side of the group. In contrast, the research side of the group is made up of postdocs, PhD students and our PI Enrico Barausse. Collectively, our team is culturally diverse coming together from 8 different countries; ranging in years of research, research interests, publications, and experiences.
